The problem
During the COVID-19 lockdowns, an NGO was distributing ration to families in need. Keeping track on paper made it hard to know who had already received help, and easy for families to be missed or served twice.
What I built
An Android app, written in Java and Kotlin, that volunteers used to register families and record every ration distribution — so the team always had an up-to-date picture of who had been helped and when.
Outcome
A simple, reliable record of aid distributed, helping the NGO reach more families fairly at a time when it mattered most.
