A personal site that works for both recruiters and clients — clear and professional first, with a fun, game-inspired personality in the details.
What I built
A custom WordPress theme from scratch — no page builders. Projects are a custom post type with filters and detail pages; the contact form validates input, blocks spam, saves every message to the admin and emails it; site details are editable in the Customizer.
The game touches are all plain CSS and JavaScript: an EXP bar that fills as you scroll, a pixel mascot that powers up, a hidden Konami-code easter egg and a playable arcade game.
Outcome
A fast, lightweight site that’s easy to update — and memorable.
