The idea
Help bridge communication by teaching a computer to understand sign-language gestures.
What I built
A deep-learning image classifier in TensorFlow / Keras that recognises sign-language gestures from camera images.
Alongside it I built other computer-vision projects with OpenCV, including a mask-detection system for COVID-19 SOPs and a first-aid kit item finder.
Outcome
Hands-on experience training, evaluating and applying vision models to real-world problems.
